BF Bakery & Cafe is conveniently located inside the 99 Ranch Market in Arcadia. I visited on a Friday afternoon, and many customers were inside, creating a lively atmosphere typical of an Asian grocery market bakery with an open-concept display of baked goods. This bakery offers a wide variety of Asian-style breads, pastries, cakes, cookies, and more. The cakes caught my attention, with larger ones priced around $20-$30 and smaller cakes available for approximately $5. I decided to try two slices of cheesecake, taking advantage of their $4.99 BOGO deal. I went for the New York and Lime flavors. The New York cheesecake was dense with a strong vanilla aroma--classic and satisfying. The Lime cheesecake was surprisingly delightful, with a light and refreshing flavor reminiscent of key lime pie. What made it unique was the sponge cake layer at the bottom, instead of the usual graham cracker crust. While both slices were delicious, the portions were small, so it does feel a bit pricey. The service was friendly and efficient. The cashier helped point out the BOGO deal on the cheesecake and quickly checked out customers. Overall, BF Bakery & Cafe offers tasty Asian baked goods in a convenient location, with a warm and welcoming staff. It's a nice spot to grab a treat if you're shopping at 99 Ranch Market, though the prices may be a bit higher than expected for the portion sizes.
I did not try any of their breads but I did get a fresh fruit tea that was already prepared sitting in a tray of ice right at the counter. It quenched my thirst when I needed it!
My daughter and I wanted to check out the 99 Ranch market and then started to look for food to go. Much to our surprise, this bakery was across the market. This place was very spacious and the ambience was very warm. The size of the pastry were pretty big compared to 85C. Plus, they were very generous with the shredded pork that was either in or on top of the pastry and it had the right sweetness. Their pastry definitely had the wow affect in appearance and taste. All of the pastry were delicious and well made. The jalapeño hot dog was more on the salty side. We debated over getting the egg and ham sandwich which was the best decision ever. It was well proportion with all the ingredients. The bread was light, fluffy with a sprinkle of sweetness. Also, they had cakes and hot food to go. The staff was friendly and provided fast service. There might be a wait but this place is worth checking out and I highly recommend it.
My Honey and I ordered Dim Sum-A, Grilled Unagi Bowl, BBQ Pork Bento. The service was not great, but the food was good. The ambiance was fast and busy.

This bakery is located right across the new 99 Ranch market in the mall. Looks like a typical asian bakery that serves drinks and food. Like JJ Bakery. We came by toward the end of day so there wasn't a whole lot to grab. You can tell they have pretty wide selection of stuff to sell though. Ready to eat rice bowl & sushi rolls, made-to-order food, typical asian bread & cakes, warm sweet potato, coffee & teas, they even have eggslut looking sandwich. We got the bread and pastry. They're alright. Average. Staff was ok. Place nice and bright. Some tables inside. Or you can hang on the seat right outside of the bakery.
